WHAT IS A QUESTKEY?


QuestKeys is a transfer engine/hypertransfer engine

A QuestKey is a word, number, symbol, or phrase that links directly to a URL when entered into the QuestKeys hypertransfer engine. In essence, each questkey is a hypertext link. When entered into the QuestKeys hypertransfer engine the questkey transfers users to the associated hypertext link. If users do not have their own site, they can also create web pages through Questkeys.com and link directly to those pages.

QuestKeys are accessed through QuestKeys.com or through the Questkey toolbar. This website is the center for QuestKeys hypertransfer technology.

QuestKeys are free.


CREATING AND USING A QUESTKEY


Goto QuestKeys.com and setup a profile. Once logged in, users are able to create QuestKeys by uploading an image, a QuestKey name, a URL link, and a brief description of the website.

Users can choose from 6 (six) different categories:
  • Web
  • Images
  • News
  • Videos
  • Music
  • Literature
Each QuestKey is unique within a given category. When a user submits a QuestKey at Questkeys.com, by default he/she will be automatically directed to the QuestKey link for the Web category. To get results for all 6 (six) categories, he/she must click on the link for "All" categories. To link to a QuestKey for a single category, the user can click on that category and enter the QuestKey.

When a User submits a QuestKey within a single category, the user will be redirected to the URL attached to that QuestKey. If there is no URL attached to that QuestKey, the user will be informed that the QuestKey is not in use and that he/she has the option to create that QuestKey for his/her chosen URL.
CREATING A PROFILE


Each user is allowed to create a profile. Each profile gives the user the right to create URLs within QuestKeys.com by uploading items within 6 different categories:
  • Web (points directly to webpage on the QuestKeys.com Site)
  • Images(points directly to pictures uploaded to user's profile)
  • News (points directly to articles uploaded to user's profile)
  • Videos (points directly to videos uploaded to user's profile)
  • Music (points directly to mp3s or songs uploaded to user's profile)
  • Literature (points directly to online literature, poems, short stories, and other online written works uploaded to user's profile)

ADD-ONS/FLIP IT


All users can flip their profile. This option allows users to select their favorite QuestKeys and add them to their profile in any category.

Once a Questkey is submitted for all categories and the result list appears, add-on buttons will appear on the list as well. The "ADD-ALL" button will add all of the QuestKey links for each category listed in their profile. The user then is allowed to vote and write comments about the resourcefulness of that link and QuestKey added to their profile.

QUESTKEYS.COM also provide HTML code so that users can post the QuestKey Links submission button to any selected webpage. This will allow QuestKey’s users to reach their QuestKey link from anywhere throughout the world-wide-web.
